What’s at stake

In the past 10 years, over 2,500 people have died in a truck related accident on our roads. Being a truckie is Australia’s most dangerous job. They suffer from low wages, long hours, no time for maintenance and tight timeframes, all of which puts every road user at risk.

Truck drivers and our communities know that things have to change. That’s why, for over 20 years, drivers across Australia, through our union, the TWU, have been fighting for Safe Rates and safer roads for all Australians.

If you believe that Safe Rates save lives, join the campaign today.
